Kettles were 500cc I think, chain drive. GS1000's were shafties.

I'll get a pic next time I'm up the shop. It's my fathers, he's been struggling to find bits for it and is a bit undecided what to do with it. Either sell it or have a bit of fun and bobber/hardtail it??? It's not 100% original and has a gs 750 tank and seat I think.
Actually my bad I think it's a GL, not a GT. Thing I love about it is that it has the same indicator lenses as the LJ80. Think it's this model, looks different with the wrong tank and seat though. it's a shaft drive Luke

Kettles were definatly 750,

There was a GT 500 but it was air cooled (twin cylinder 2 stroke)
