Looks tidy, i had a 1/4 life crisis with the Jimny, always promised myself I would get newer/faster, ended up taking nearly 4 steps back!

Yes basically the truck is very sound but needs some TLC ,its lifted to much for me so first job is to drop it to a more acceptable height, next is get the rear diff sorted as its blown ! fortunately the previous owner has two part axles plus other parts unknown at the mo. Replacement seats will be needed for my old bones so trying track down some Mazda MX5 seats or alternative. Then get it through a MOT !. Fortunately I have a few friends who can help me with these things as i'm crap with spanners and need adult supervision !.
But looking forward to getting back into a SJ again after (sorry to say driving Landrovers) for a while. Ive had a SJ before so know there ups and downs, Ive always been a off road/laning nut and have owned many types of 4x4 over the last 30 +years including a Diahatsu, various Landrovers, a anus and a SJ413. I started laning with GLASS in around 1990 when the lanes of Wales, Yorkshire and Derbyshire where numerous but sadly whe've lost so many excellent lanes especially with the NERCA act.
However the truck is something i'm looking forward to doing and getting back behind a Suzuki wheel and perhaps meet up with some of you guys sometime.

some interesting paperwork that came with the truck.
It looks like the SPOA has been done correctly as far as I'm told by my Suzuki spanner man so we'll(or he will) lower the truck from the additional lift which has been done after the SPOA and see how that goes. After talking with the previous owner who did the work he said it drove perfectly before the extra lift.

Two wheels on my wagon but i'm still rollin along !


there's always something missing or over when you finish a job isnt there ?

Update.
Its been decided to abandon the SPOA and go back to spring under axle but with a 2" shackle lift enough for clearance for the tyres giving it just a little height, this was decided for a better road handling and safety, and to keep the costs down without going to new springs (that maybe done at a later date if one gets bent or something)

Now onto the front axle, rear diff reassembled and fitted new bearings in axle done wheels back on and new brake pads done as it has had discs fitted previously, hand brake shoes replaced also.

still needs new 2" extended shockers on all four corners, probably from Jimney bits in Stoke or Llama 4x4
Found some reasonable Corsa seats from the scrapy, just waiting for them to become available. Probably another hundred jobs to do yet and then MOT the truck.
