Drove the SJ from Solihull to Wareham this morning. 168 miles mostly at 70mph and all good. Normally don't do more than a few miles at a time so went for an oil and filter change before I left. And the SJ had been running hot which turned out to be a knacked rad cap..so replaced that. Man these motors are amazing..!!..
Best bit though...roof been off and have been on the beach since 11am

I am driving upto Solihull in a few weeks time for the weekend,to visit some old friends as i use to live near the Rover factory for about 15 years then moved down south.
Also up near Stratford upon Avon in August as well with the Vitara on a detecting rally,so may pop over to Solihull again.
Deceased.
SJ413 tinwormed to the great car grave yard in the sky.

I was gunna go down in our Porsche 356A kit car but its not finished..!!.. Always plenty of VWs around your way...lots of steep hills to take on too though!! Was there a show on somewhere this past weekend? Saw loads of various VWs cruising towards Swanage...mostly water cooled though!! Not really my thing but would've gone to the show if I'd known about it...well if I had been allowed to go!!!
